About Me

I am a psychoanalyst who has been in private practice for the past 15 years. Before my private practice, I worked as a psychotherapist in several settings, including The Center for Post-Traumatic and Dissociative Disorders and The D.C. Rape Crisis Center, where I was their first male psychotherapist. I am licensed to practice in DC and Maryland and I am a fluent/native Spanish speaker

Teaching:

Clinical Instructor at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where I supervise psychiatry residents. 

Clinical Instructor at the Howard University School of Medicine, where I supervise psychiatry residents.

Faculty member at the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis.

Other Activities:

I am Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis, as well as Co-chair of the Center’s Diversities Committee.

I am a member of the Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
